Resveratrol promises to give good health and protection against various diseases of health. This phytochemical is known for its medical characteristics and scientists have started acknowledging the benefits of resveratrol. The use of this phytochemical is varied and resveratrol is reported for its anti-carcinogenic, anti-platelet and anti-inflammatory effects. As time passes by, the capability of older cells to replicate DNA tends to diminish and when a person starts the intake of resveratrol, then this phytochemical increases the activity of longevity gene. The frequency of DNA debris is diminished that leads to longevity. The activity of agene is increased though a process called “Deacetylation”. Under this process, the rate of reaction is increased.

Then, this process checks the status of gene and this stage is very significant. In this way, the longevity gene is augmented and deacetylation is also controlled. As far as cancer is concerned, Resveartrol also controls this and in some cases, this phytochemical not only reduces the development of cancer but also stops the stages of this disease. In order to stop the development of cancer, resveratrol modulates genes by obstructing androgens and estrogens.

Summary

In order to have protection against various diseases of heart, one should resort to resveratrol.
