California auto insurance companies offer you different types of auto insurance. You can opt for any of these depending upon your requirement. These insurance are not compulsory they are optional with you main insurance.

Auto Insurance

Underinsured / Uninsured Motorist - This pays for you and your traveler’s medicinal costs and harm to your auto caused by a hit-and-run, underinsured, or uninsured driver. Approximately ¼ of the Californian driver are driving without license and therefore it can be a good option.

Personal Injury Protection – This coverage cover ups medical bills of all the persons sitting in the car. It is a kind of medical insurance as it deals with all the medical expenses. If you already have a medical insurance you can leave it.

Comprehensive - This pays for harm made to your automobile by something other than a vehicle collision - hail, theft, vandalism, fire, etc. If you have an older car you might feel like skipping this insurance coverage.

Collision – this insurance cover pays for all the repairs to your car no matter whose mistake it was.

All the above four insurance can add something to your existing insurance although n it’s not necessary to take them.
